The helmet adapters from FMA are used to comfortably attach MSA Sordin headsets to helmets. For this purpose, the adapter has two pins on each side, which are used to attach the ear cups individually to the adapter. In combination with the rail adapters, the ear cups can now be attached to the Picatinny rails of the helmet. The advantage of this adapter is that the headset can be folded away from the ear when not in use, allowing sound and air to reach the ear. At the same time, acoustic protection and communication capability are close at hand and can be restored with a single movement.
