The helmet adapters from FMA are used to comfortably attach the Peltor Comtac I and II headsets to helmets. For this purpose, the adapter has two clips on each side into which the headset mounting pins are clicked. In combination with the rail adapters, the ear cups can now be attached to the helmet’s Picatinny rails. The advantage of this adapter is that the headset can be folded away from the ear when not in use, allowing sound and air to reach the ear. At the same time, acoustic protection and communication capability are close at hand and can be restored with a single movement.
