The Zentauron Streitgurt flecktarn, also known as a war belt, comes with non-ballistic inserts that serve as padding and improve wearing comfort. The inserts can be replaced with NIJ LvL IIIA soft ballistic inserts to increase protection. Under the centrally attached hook-and-loop pocket, which is intended for load transfer in combination with the Vulcan III plate carrier, is the channel for the inner belt or duty belt. The belt can be worn as a stand-alone piece, or you can take advantage of the load transfer with the Vulcan III by directing part of its weight onto the hips, relieving the back.
