The Savotta Side Pouch 6 Liter is the perfect addition to your backpack from the Savotta Jäger series. In it you can stow, for example, a large tarp, a hammock, rain gear, two standard 1.5-liter beverage bottles, a Trangia stove from the 27 series, fuel and some cooking gear, or a Jetboil stove, a gas cartridge, water and some cooking gear.
The back is equipped with a PALS attachment strap system with tuck-in tabs. Optimal attachment requires a width of three channels and a height of five rows of PALS webbing. The side compression straps of your backpack, when tightened, prevent any movement of the pouch and its contents.
The zipper of the side pouch is covered for additional water repellency and protection from abrasion and dirt. The vertical webbing on the front keeps your backpack’s compression straps neatly over the pouch so it can be properly compressed. They can also be used as attachment points for bungee cords, carabiners and similar items and leave a gap of about 9 cm between them. This allows you to carry axes, fishing rods, etc. stowed behind the pouch, for example.
A 25 mm webbing loop and a D-ring at the top of the rear inner wall allow you to secure important items, while the flat rear compartment offers basic organization for smaller things. The bottom and lower halves of the sides are lined with 210D polyamide for additional abrasion resistance.
