The Reverso 4 from Petzl is a belay and rappel device and, at 59 grams, weighs around 25% less than its predecessor. The intuitive handling and practical functions remain the same. It is suitable for belaying a lead climber or up to two seconds. The braking force of the Reverso 4 is additionally increased by the V-shaped braking grooves with lateral notches. It is versatile in use and can be used in combination with twin ropes, half ropes and single ropes. In addition, the belay device is ideally suited for alpine climbing tours as well as multi-pitch routes and ice climbing.
