The OTP pants are the further development of the classic UTP version and were specially designed for outdoor use. They combine all the functions of their predecessor and optimize them with regard to use in the field. The fabric is therefore designed to be very light, elastic and breathable, and its quick-drying properties effectively protect the wearer from light rain and cooler temperatures.
The waistband is closed with a hook-and-loop fastener and allows for a certain degree of adjustability within the size. The large belt loops allow the use of belts up to 50 mm wide, such as the Helikon EDC, UTL or Cobra belt. In addition, the jeans-like cut of the pants prevents them from slipping down.
In the knee area, the Helikon-Tex neoprene protective pads can be inserted into the integrated pockets and provide excellent protection with a low profile. All pocket edges have been reinforced to protect against belt clips from flashlights or knives and ensure load distribution close to the body’s center of gravity.
Two front pockets with hook-and-loop closure offer enough space for a smartphone or a spare magazine (AR/AK). The side pockets have zippers and provide additional storage space for a wallet, etc.
