The ESSL RU90 Alpin 50 L backpack has been used for decades by the Austrian Bundesheer and other armed forces. It is ideal for medium-length tours. You can store your gear and personal items in several pockets. The large, covered main compartment is complemented by the bottom compartment, which can be fully opened and separated via a curved zipper. The lid with inner and outer pocket can be height-adjusted. The right shoulder strap can be released in an emergency using a quick-release system so the backpack can be dropped. Side compression straps and gear loops for attaching trekking poles, for example, complete the pack.
