The Carinthia Defence 4 is a versatile 3-season sleeping bag with its roots in the military sector, developed specifically for demanding outdoor missions. Its extremely robust and water-repellent outer material reliably protects you from wind and moisture so that you stay dry and warm even in adverse conditions. The zipper cover flap provides additional protection against moisture penetration, while the zipper draft tube effectively reduces heat loss.
The centrally positioned 2-way zipper ensures flexible entry and exit as well as additional ventilation options. For colder nights, the Defence 4 can be combined with the Tropen sleeping bag, guaranteeing that you won’t get cold even at temperatures well below zero. Its Thermoflect® technology reflects your body heat and further improves heat retention without unnecessarily increasing the weight.
Care instructions for G-LOFT products
The sleeping bag should be aired after every trip and only washed when absolutely necessary. Hand washing is the gentlest method. To do this, soak it thoroughly in warm water in the bathtub with synthetic detergent, gently agitate it, and rinse it thoroughly several times.
G-LOFT is machine washable and dryer safe. For machine washing, a drum capacity of at least 7 kg is required. Before washing, close all zippers and open all drawstrings, and turn the sleeping bag inside out. Always wash the product separately on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30°C with a mild detergent. Air dry or tumble dry at a maximum of 500 revolutions per minute on the lowest setting.
